Our Programs Scholarships for Higher Education

Two Ten provides scholarships to help footwear families cover the cost of higher education. Awards offer up to four years of tuition assistance for employees and their children and support accredited bachelor’s or associate degrees, as well as vocational and technical training. Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year are due by April 1, 2026. Use program key TwoTen to begin your application.

Requirements

To apply for any of our Two Ten scholarships, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be a full or part-time employee in the US footwear industry, or allied industry, for at least the last 2 years. Legal dependents of eligible employees are also welcome to apply.
  • Eligible employees must work for a company that does at least 50% of their business in footwear, or the employee must work in the footwear division of a company. Employment verification is required annually to ensure continued eligibility.
  • Be enrolled or plan to enroll for the upcoming fall academic semester in a degree program at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational / technical school in the United States. Graduate programs are not eligible. Scholarships cannot be used to cover summer or winter intersessions.
  • Have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
  • Be a US citizen or a non-citizen that is eligible for FAFSA Student Aid.
  • Display financial need through a filed FAFSA Student Aid Report. Two Ten gives priority to applicants with a Student Aid Index (SAI) that is below $30,000.

U.S. footwear industry employees and their legal dependents may be eligible to apply for tuition assistance. Scholars receive annual awards of $4,000, renewable for up to four years of full-time or part-time study until their 1st degree or certification is completed, for a total of $16,000.

Military veterans and active duty working in the U.S. footwear industry or their legal dependents may be eligible to apply for tuition assistance. Scholars receive annual awards of $4,000, renewable for up to four years of full-time or part-time study until their 1st degree or certification is completed, for a total of $16,000.

Members of National Shoe Travelers (NST) and their legal dependents and grandchildren may be eligible to apply for tuition assistance. Scholars receive annual awards of $5,000, renewable for up to four years of full-time or part-time study until their 1st degree or certification is completed, for a total of $20,000. Membership is verified with NST directly by Two Ten.
