We are Two Ten Footwear Foundation
Our mission is to bring hope and opportunity to the people of footwear. Two Ten was founded in the 1930s, in the wake of the Great Depression, when a group of “shoepeople” began to meet once a week at 210 Lincoln Street in Boston. Swapping stories and passing the hat, they did what they could to help colleagues in need. Since then, Two Ten has grown into a national charitable foundation that awards millions of dollars in emergency relief each year—in addition to grants to help industry employees pursue upskilling or professional development opportunities and scholarships to make college more affordable for employees and their children. We’ve helped generations of footwear families weather hard times, rise up from hardship or crisis, and thrive. Two Ten promotes the financial and emotional wellbeing of industry employees, building workforce resiliency while fostering a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
