In Her Shoes: Understanding Breast Cancer and Supporting Women at Work

Event Friday, September 19, 2025 12:00 - 1:00 PM (Eastern Time)

This webinar featured Dr. Lisa Newman, MD, MPH, FACS, FASCO, of NewYork-Presbyterian and a Fashion Footwear Charitable Foundation beneficiary, and Dr. Vivian J. Bea, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and Director of the Breast Oncology Program and Section Chief of Breast Surgical Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Together, they shared important insights on breast cancer awareness and education. We also heard from voices across the industry about how workplaces can better support employees navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, including personal reflections from survivors.
