Hardship Relief

Two Ten offers help and hope to footwear employees who experience personal hardship due to a major illness, job loss, divorce, a death in the family, or other crisis.

How We Can Help

Short-term emergency financial assistance may be available for eligible footwear employees who experience a qualifying event. Please note, however, that employment in the industry does not guarantee an award. Talk to one of our grant managers about your personal circumstances and we'll see how we can help.

Remember to save your login and password when you create an account in our grant system so you'll be able to check the status of your application later. Please do not submit duplicate applications; that will delay application processing.

Requirements

1. You have experienced significant personal hardship due to a qualifying event (such as a serious illness or injury, divorce or separation, death in the family, or other major crisis).
2. You are currently employed in the U.S. footwear industry OR you left the industry within the last 6 months.
3. You can provide documentation of working in the U.S. footwear industry for at least 24 months total, either full time or part time.
4. You can demonstrate financial need based on income, expenses and household size.
5. You have not received a Two Ten Hardship Relief grant within the past 24 months.

If you apply for assistance you will be asked to supply copies of your last two paystubs along with an employment verification document from your employer that confirms your hire date. (This can be a letter or email from your supervisor or your company's HR department and it must include contact information for the company representative verifying the dates of your employment.) You may also be asked to provide your Social Security Number.
