Tacey Powers, EVP and GMM of Shoes, Accessories, Home, and Kids, Nordstrom

Recipient of the 2026 WIFI Impact Award

Tacey Powers is the EVP and GMM for Nordstrom Accessories, Home, Kids and Shoes. Her responsibilities extend across all Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com. Prior to her current assignment she served in many roles across the Nordstrom organization including EVP GMM of Shoes and Kids, EVP GMM Nordstrom Rack, VP of Shoes for Nordstrom Rack, VP of Women’s Shoes for Nordstrom, and Merchandise Manager of Nordstrom.com and the Catalog Division.

Her career started in Southern California in 1981 on the selling floor of women’s apparel. From there she served in various merchandising roles before moving to Seattle.

Tacey is deeply involved in the Two Ten Footwear Foundation, which serves people and families in the shoe industry who are in need. In 2018, the Foundation presented Tacey with the Social Impact Award, which is given in recognition of philanthropic leadership. She is also a board member of Shoes that Fit (and proud to be supporting Nordstrom’s Shoes That Fit campaign), a non-profit organization that helps children across the country by giving them access to brand new, properly fitting athletic shoes and other life changing essential items. 

Tacey joined the FDRA (Footwear Distributers and Retailers of America) Board in December 2020. FDRA is a non-profit business and trade association that provides innovative products, training, and consulting. Its members include most U.S. footwear manufacturers, brands, retailers, and importers to global footwear companies. It advocates for lower costs for customers, allowing its members to sell more shoes and create jobs.

In recognition of her contributions to the footwear industry, Tacey was honored as a member of the Footwear News Hall of Fame in 2024.

Tacey is married and has two grown children who also reside in the Seattle area.
