Scholarships for Military Families

The Footwear Warriors Scholarship Fund was developed for footwear industry employees who have served in the U.S. military and their dependents.

How We Can Help

If you're a military veteran working in the U.S. footwear industry or the legal dependent of a veteran working in footwear, you may be eligible to apply for tuition assistance from Two Ten for higher education. Two Ten Scholarships are worth up to $16,000 total. Scholars receive annual awards of $4,000, renewable for up to four years of full-time or part-time study in an accredited associate or bachelor degree program or vocational/technical training program.

Requirements

  • 1. You are (or you are the legal dependent of) someone who has served in a branch of the U.S. military.
  • 2. You are (or will be) enrolled in an accredited associate or bachelor degree program or vocational/technical training program.
  • 3. You are (or you are the legal dependent of) someone currently employed in the U.S. footwear industry who can provide proof they have worked in the U.S. footwear industry, either full time or part time, for at least 24 months total.
  • 4. You can demonstrate financial need based on household size, income and expenses. (Please note: scholarship selection criteria include but are not limited to financial need. Academic potential, character, special circumstances, and other criteria are also considered.)

To apply for this program you must meet the criteria listed above. You will be asked to supply copies of the qualifying employee's last two paystubs along with an employment verification document from the employer that confirms hire date. (This can be a simple letter or email from a supervisor or company HR department, but must include contact information for the company representative verifying the dates of employment.) You may also be asked to provide your Social Security Number or your FAFSA® EFC (Expected Family Contribution) during the application process.
