New Endowed Scholarship to Honor Two Ten Board Chair

Earlier this month, the Two Ten Footwear Foundation announced the launch of a new named scholarship that will recognize a special group of industry leaders: those who have chaired Two Ten’s Board of Directors. The Two Ten Chair Emeritus Scholarship was created to honor the enduring impact of the Foundation's Board Chairs, whose vision and leadership advance the organization’s mission, during the years of their board service and well beyond.

“With the launch of this new endowed scholarship fund, we’re beginning a new tradition of recognizing each outgoing Board Chair by awarding a higher education scholarship in his or her name,” said Two Ten President & CEO Shawn Osborne. “We wanted to do something that not only honored their board service but also connected to the Two Ten mission in a meaningful way. An educational opportunity like this, a scholarship that will be awarded every year in perpetuity and continue to lift lives in footwear, seemed especially fitting.”

Two Ten’s Higher Education Scholarships portfolio includes a number of named scholarships established to honor industry luminaries, past and present. These endowed scholarships create a lasting legacy that has long-term impact on Two Ten scholars and their families.
