Evan had been a retail worker at a local shoe store for several years, but his life changed dramatically last July when his sister was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was forced to take a leave of absence to care for her, and due to the expensive medical bills and having to miss work, he was unable to afford his own bills. He was desperate for help when he heard about Two Ten from his manager. Evan quickly applied for assistance and was relieved to receive help, allowing him to pay his bills and focus on his sister’s recovery.
