Categories: Press Releases

Leading nonprofit designer apparel resale website Union & Fifth, which Redbook called “the best reason to clean your closet,” today announced Two Ten Footwear Foundation as a new charity beneficiary. With a mission encouraging customers to “Shop for Good,” Union & Fifth weaves fashion with philanthropy in allowing donors and shoppers to help worthy nonprofits, from national charities to local/regional organizations and schools.

Set to go live on the Union & Fifth site on October 21st, the newest addition to the site is a shop by Two Ten Footwear Foundation. Two Ten is the charitable nonprofit founded in 1939 that supports the domestic footwear industry. Two Ten brings shoepeople together to help each other during crisis, support each other as a community and ensure a bright future for our industry’s workforce. The Union and Fifth shop specifically supports Two Ten’s Women in Footwear Industry (WIFI), the preeminent women’s organization of the footwear industry.

Founded in 2008, the goal of Two Ten’s WIFI program is to support, mentor and educate women in the footwear industry and support Two Ten Footwear Foundation. Led by co-chairs Carol Baiocchi, VP-DMM, Kohl’s Department Store and Libby Edelman, Senior Vice President, Sam Edelman, WIFI is comprised of eight chapters located in major metropolitan areas across the country.
