Shoes.com Loves Footwear Cares!

Categories: Footwear Cares

As title sponsor of Two Ten Footwear Foundation’s Footwear Cares® nationwide volunteer program, Shoes.com has helped grow this initiative into a year-long celebration of the footwear industry’s leading role in making positive change in communities across America.  The timing couldn’t be better!  We’re all busier than ever, so the push to make meaningful connections, impact meaningful change and have a fulfilling volunteer experience is becoming more paramount.

“We’re helping Two Ten organize major volunteer events across the country that bring footwear employees together from many companies in one space to make a big impact,” says Alex Proelss, SVP Brand Marketing & Creative at Shoes.com.  “This is especially helpful to companies that don’t have their own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program established in-house for their employees, but still encourage volunteer activation.  Footwear Cares® is a helpful tool to either jumpstart a company’s volunteer efforts or utilize it as the company platform for their own CSR efforts.  We’re proud to help in any way we can!”

“Anyone can volunteer and make a difference,” continued Proelss.  “Not only is it good for your community, but it’s good for your soul and it’s amazing how much better you feel after volunteering.  It truly is the best medicine and it helps bring people together.  I don’t think it gets any better than that.”

Footwear Cares® Group Events are in high gear during the month of April, National Volunteer Month, and more events will be added throughout the year.  Check out the current calendar here.
