Presented every five years, the Bob Campbell Lifetime Achievement Award honors an individual whose great leadership and philanthropic accomplishments have made a difference to the Two Ten Footwear Foundation and the U.S. footwear community’s success.
This year, the award will be presented to Joe Ouaknine, co-founder and Chairman of Titan Industries, at the Two Ten Annual Gala on December 4th. “Joe is being recognized for his extraordinary philanthropic achievements that have made a meaningful difference for Two Ten, and for our industry. His passion for raising funds to help our colleagues who are struggling is truly remarkable, and we are thankful for all of the work he does on our behalf,” said David DiPasquale, Interim President of Two Ten Footwear Foundation.
A Two Ten board member for more than a decade, Joe has been instrumental to the Foundation’s fundraising success, especially in his role as chairman of the Gala Solicitations Committee. Joe has made it his annual mission to raise more money than the year before to help ensure that Two Ten always has the necessary funds to help all footwear families in need of emergency financial assistance who reach out.
The Two Ten 80th Anniversary Gala will be chaired by Shoe Carnival and held onboard the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum along the Hudson River in New York City. Guests will gather in the ship’s three massive hangars for a reception, cocktails, dinner, and program amongst historical artifacts and extraordinary exhibits. The evening will cap off with incredible entertainment from Questlove, musician/DJ and frontman for the Grammy Award-winning band, The Roots.
