Before you submit an application for emergency financial assistance, please take a moment to read through the eligibility requirements below.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility for Crisis/Hardship Relief

  • Be a full or part-time Footwear*or allied industry (including contractors and temporary workers) employee for a minimum of 24 months.
  • Provide proof of financial need in assessment of income and expenses.
  • Be 18 years or older.
  • If currently unemployed, not been out of the industry for more than 12 months; (ex: layoff or furlough)
  • Have not received hardship relief from Two Ten within the past 24 months.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen (green card, visa) residing in the U.S.

Eligibility for Disaster Relief

  • Anyone who has been directly affected by a recent natural disaster AND has not received financial assistance from Two Ten in the past 12 months (including COVID-19 relief)
  • Be a full or part-time footwear*or allied industry (including contractors and temporary workers) employee for a minimum of 12 months.
  • Provide proof of financial need in assessment of income and expenses.
  • Be 18 years or older.
  • If currently unemployed, not been out of the industry for more than 12 months; (ex: layoff or furlough)
  • Have not received financial assistance from Two Ten within the past 12 months.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen (green card, visa) residing in the U.S.

All members of the footwear community are eligible for counseling and information and referral services regardless of the length of employment.

  • Counseling is confidential, provided over the phone by licensed, professional social workers who can help address issues like family crises, substance or domestic abuse, depression, and chronic illness.
  • We can also help you find resources within your community to assist you in hard times.

Required Paperwork

To expedite processing time, please gather the following documentation.

  1. Verification of at least two years of employment in the footwear industry.  This can include one of the following —
    • A document from the company
    • An email verification from HR including contact information
    • 2 most recent pay stubs
    • Most recent business license
    • Time in the footwear industry as verified by a reputable industry association (NSRA, NST, USRA, SSIA, etc.)
