Lyndsey Benson – Vice President of Human Resources for Steve Madden

As Vice President of Human Resources for Steve Madden for over 13 years, Lyndsey Benson leads all aspects of Recruitment, Talent Development, Employee Relations, Benefits, Performance Management, and Compliance. Lyndsey has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Penn State University and, while working full-time, gained her Master’s in Human Resource Management and Development from NYU. As a life-long learner, Lyndsey leads with a spirit of openness and authenticity. When not engaged in advancing the vital Human Resources work at Steve Madden, Lyndsey enjoys spending time with her two very active little boys.

Ashley Dyson – Manager of Diversity and Inclusion for ASICS America Corporation

Ashley Dyson is the Manager of Diversity and Inclusion for ASICS America Corporation, North America region. She has been with the organization for 3 years. Before accepting her role as D&I Manager, she was the Manager of Learning and Development and had been in the learning and development space for over 10 years of her career. Though her role was L&D she stayed very close to D&I, sitting on various committees and working with teams abroad. Ashley is a National Diversity Council Certified Diversity Professional. Recently published for her work in the L&D and D&I space at ASICS, she believes that to see people for who they are, you must create intentional connections. These are moments of genuine curiosity to learn more about another person with the intent to build relationships.

Amy Hunter – Vice President of Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Caleres

Amy A. Hunter is currently the Vice President of Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the publicly traded Caleres.  She recently joined the Caleres team after serving as the Senior Global Equity Diversity and Inclusion leader at Boeing.  At Caleres she leads the global initiatives for diversity equity and inclusion.  She has enjoyed a career in diversity working within the healthcare, agricultural, educational, and financial services industries.

Hunter has more than 20 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, project management and leadership within the corporate and nonprofit arenas. Her responsibilities have included creating and implementing return on investment strategies for recruitment, curriculums for training and development and measurable retention strategies.

Her community engagements have included serving on several boards for local organizations including Cultural Leadership, We Stories and the United Way.   She has also led the Missouri Business Leaders Network’s Governor’s Council on Disability and has been an active member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Corporate Advisory.

Hunter is also the Principle of Lotus Roots Consulting LLC. She has spoken and presented diversity training, keynotes, seminars, and strategy sessions around the world.  She is well respected globally and has received numerous awards for her achievements as a diversity resource.

Her popular speech “The Talk” was incorporated into a TEDx presentation called “Lucky Zip Codes.”  Hunter has an earned undergraduate degree and is currently pursuing a doctorate from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
