Sr. Director of Merchandising, Zappo’s
Kathy Forstadt is Senior Director of Merchandising for Zappos.com, the experiential e-commerce and customer service company. In her leadership role, Kathy oversees the Men’s and Women’s Footwear division, with a focus on inventory optimization and vendor relationship management. She oversees cross-functional teams across the merchandising department, ensuring integration and alignment on holistic company goals.
A proud Zapponian for 17 years, prior to joining the online retailer she worked for MGM MIRAGE retail. She was recruited for the MGM position immediately upon graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, coupled with an Associate Degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology.
Throughout her career, Kathy has worked with numerous footwear vendors and built strong relationships throughout the footwear industry. She currently serves on the WIFI Advisory Board for Two Ten and the Board for FDRA.
