The second #21DaysofDesign Challenge is underway, inviting designers to submit their “design of the day” for a chance to win a life-changing opportunity.
To encourage inspiring designers to push their skills to design for a purpose, Pensole has decided to take this challenge to the next level! Each week they will announce one new design category and provide inspirational images to problem solve and design against.
At the end of the 21 days, the top submissions will be selected and displayed at the Pensole booth at FN PLATFORM this August in Las Vegas, for every footwear brand to see.
Our last #21DaysofDesign Challenge winner, Isamu Jarman, has been working with Pensole to get his winning design made into a shoe. He’s learned a lot during this process and the recent prototype is impressive. Went can’t wait to see the complete product!
The founder of Pensole, D’Wayne Edwards, who initiated this challenge, dedicated his efforts to Two Ten. All proceeds from the produced first-place design will go to help footwear families in need. Furthermore, his competition will be a filter for talent entering the Two Ten Pensole Scholarship program.
This year the Two Ten Scholarship Program is making a concerted effort to support the education of those who want to make a career in the footwear industry. This competition is exposing the future elite designers of our industry and giving Two Ten the opportunity to support them. Thanks to D’Wayne and his team, Two Ten is receiving talent and donations.

Step 2: Follow @Pensole_Academy & @two_ten on Instagram
Step 3: Post your design to Instagram while tagging @Pensole_Academy, @fnplatform, @two_ten and @vibram using #21DaysofDesign, #FNPC18.
Step 4: Submit your “design of the day” between 12am – 7pm PST. The top designs of each day will be posted via @Pensole_Academy** IF YOUR DESIGN IS POSTED, YOU’RE IN THE HUNT!
